Karen Paterson
Centre Director - Peekaboo Torquay Mews
Karen graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College. For the past two decades, she has been working in childcare. Karen is now the Director of the Peekaboo Torquay Mews Centre.
Karen’s favourite part about being a Peekaboo Director is that she gets the chance to connect and form bonds with children and their families. She enjoys watching the children mature from infants to preschoolers.
Karen immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1979 with her parents and brother. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, listening to 80’s music and playing and watching sports with family and friends. Karen also loves animals and has a chocolate lab named Charley.
